You’re An Idiot – With A Certificate To Prove It.

I happened to be watching tv earlier today, when an ad came on that caught my attention.

Sadly, this was for all of the wrong reasons: the product is not something that I would buy, nor is it one that I could, in all seriousness, suggest to any of of my friends, that they should buy it.

Hell, the product was so unappealing, that I wouldn’t even recommend it to my enemies!

But the real clincher was in one of the product’s features. The product in question is a replica ring.

A fake. The ad makes this very clear.

Fake diamonds. Instead of real.

Silver plating. Instead of solid. Probably should be gold. White gold, but I don’t know, nor do I care.

But what caught my attention was the feature that it came with a “certificate of authenticity”.

What the fuck? A certificate confirming that you’ve bough a fake?

A certificate confirming that it’s made of tinplate and glass?

A certificate confirming that any purchaser of the product is a Grade A idiot, most likely.
