So much for Tijuana.

Following reports of a major shooting in Tijuana on Saturday last (15 dead in a major gun battle) I chickened out, having lunch instead at the Old Town Mexican Cafe in San Diego, rather than in Tijuana.

In the meantime, and of little interest other than for amusement’s sake, I noticed, during a late dinner at Denny’s in San Diego on Saturday night, that I am now eligible for their seniors’ menu specials.

I’m a-gettin’ old.

Tonight is an overnighter in Dallas, tomorrow it’s N’Awlins.
